Chicago Metropolitan Area Habitat for Humanity Affiliates
The Chicagoland Entrepreneurs House intends to rotate the location of its house project each year among the Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the Chicago metropolitan area. Affiliates in the Chicago metropolitan area include Chicago South Suburbs, DuPage County, Fox Valley, Lake County, McHenry County, Northern Fox Valley, Will County and Windy City.

Habitat for Humanity International
Habitat for Humanity is an international non-profit organization that builds homes for low income families. Over 1,500,000 people live in over 300,000 homes built by Habitat over its 30 year history. Habitat’s approach is oriented toward helping less fortunate families to help themselves by building homes with volunteer labor and then selling the homes to the families at an affordable cost with a zero interest mortgage. Habitat is a Christian-based organization, drawing its fundamental tenets from the biblical principles of serving the poor and charging no interest on lending money to those less fortunate. Supporters of Habitat include large numbers of religious congregations, corporations, and individuals.
